breathing.<\/p>\n<p>Richard said, \u201cYour father gave me something that night in exchange for leaving you outside the matter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA promise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat did he give you?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Before Richard could answer, Elliot raised his gun.<\/p>\n<p>Not at me.<\/p>\n<p>At Richard.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone froze.<\/p>\n<p>Blaire
