Lydia gave a short laugh.<\/p>\n
"Metadata proves nothing."<\/p>\n
Nora looked at her.<\/p>\n
"It proves when the file was created."<\/p>\n
"It doesn't prove who created it."<\/p>\n
"Correct."<\/p>\n
For the first time that morning, Lydia seemed pleased.<\/p>\n

Lydia stepped between them.<\/p>\n
"Enough. He's not being interrogated."<\/p>\n
"No one is interrogating him."<\/p>\n
"It certainly sounds like it."<\/p>\n
Nora closed the folder.<\/p>\n
"Then perhaps we should discuss this somewhere more formal."<\/p>\n
Ethan looked from his mother to Nora.<\/p>\n
"What exactly are you accusing us of?"<\/p>\n

I felt that one word settle somewhere permanent.<\/p>\n

"By whom?"<\/p>\n
