“You did help me,” I said. “And I appreciated that.”<\/p>\n
“Then why does it feel like you hate us?”<\/p>\n

Daniel did not understand the difference between anger and hurt.<\/p>\n
“I don’t hate you,” I said.<\/p>\n
“I was hurt.”<\/p>\n
