triggered.<\/p>\n<p>Then Envelope Three.<\/p>\n<p>Inside was a single page.<\/p>\n<p>NAME: LEON ORTIZ.<\/p>\n<p>The dead architect had chosen him years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Leon was not improvising succession.<\/p>\n<p>He was executing it.<\/p>\n<p>Below his name:<\/p>\n<p>PRIMARY PUBLIC SHIELD: UNASSIGNED.<\/p>\n<p>Then handwritten later, in different ink:<\/p>\n<p>CHLOE WARD
