David is guilty. Ethan is guilty. Laura is guilty. Gerald is guilty. Martin is guilty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd Stephen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat about you?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mason paused.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI helped hide evidence because I was beside my forged signature.<\/p>\n<p>The woman Stephen had first selected as Juniper\u2019s liability endpoint before replacing her with me.<\/p>\n<p>Mason looked at me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLaura wasn\u2019t present at the false notarization because she helped forge your signature.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>My throat tightened.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen why was her identification number used?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause Patricia needed a real ID to record.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLaura gave it to her?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho exposed\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLaura took the fall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another contingency.<\/p>\n<p>Another person prepared for sacrifice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoes Laura know that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince when?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince Patricia contacted her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen she knows where the journal is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProbably.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I stood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need Laura.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vega was already arranging the search.<\/p>\n<p>Mason spoke before the connection ended.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cClaire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I looked back at the screen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo not meet Stephen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wasn\u2019t planning serious.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019ve heard Stephen when he needed something.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat is the difference?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen Stephen believes he has lost, he stops asking.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A chill moved through me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat does he do?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mason looked directly into the camera.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe changes which person is supposed to take the fall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The call ended.<\/p>\n<p>Less than ten minutes later, Vega received an urgent message.<\/p>\n<p>The Orchard North board meeting had been moved.<\/p>\n<p>Not five days away.<\/p>\n<p>Not even tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>It was scheduled for that afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Phase IV had accelerated.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen knew the structure was collapsing.<\/p>\n<p>And he had stopped
