Four days after the\u00a0disappearance of Nancy Guthrie,\u00a0Savannah Guthrie\u00a0has issued a tearful plea to her mom\u2019s potential abductor.On\u00a0<\/strong>Wednesday, Feb. 4,\u00a0<\/strong>the\u00a0Today\u00a0<\/em>host, 54, posted a video to\u00a0Instagram\u00a0of herself, her sister Annie, and her brother Camron speaking out to their mother and Nancy\u2019s potential abductor, with the caption \u201cBring her home.\u201d \u201cWe too have heard the reports about a ransom letter in the media,\u201d Savannah said. \u201cAs a family, we are doing everything that we can.<\/p>\n

We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated. We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen. Please, reach out to us.\u201dSavannah went on to share that Nancy is \u201cour heart and our home,\u201d before expressing concern about her mother\u2019s medical wellbeing. \u201cShe is 84 years old,\u201d Savannah said. \u201cHer health, her heart is fragile. She lives in constant pain. She is without any medicine. She needs it to survive. She needs it not to suffer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Savannah reflected on how loved her mom is and all of the support their family has received, saying, \u201cOn behalf of our family, we want to thank all of you for the prayers for our beloved mom, Nancy. We feel them and we continue to believe that she feels them too. Our mom is a kind, faithful, loyal, fiercely loving woman of goodness and light. She is funny, spunky, and clever. She has grandchildren that adore her and crowd around her and cover her in kisses. She loves fun and adventure. She is a devoted friend. She is full of kindness and knowledge. Talk to her and you\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n

Annie shared, \u201cThe light is missing from our lives. Nancy is our mother. We are her children. She is our beacon. She holds fast to joy in all of life\u2019s circumstances. She chooses joy, day after day. Despite already having passed through great trials of pain and grief, we are always going to be merely human. Just normal human people who need our mom. Mama, mama, if you\u2019re listening, we need you to come home. We miss you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nancy was reported missing from her home in Arizona at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, prompting\u00a0<\/strong>an urgent search for her whereabouts. According to the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department (PCSD), she was last seen by family members around 9:30 p.m. local time on Saturday, Jan. 31.<\/p>\n

Savannah shared her first public statement regarding the situation with her\u00a0Today\u00a0<\/em>colleagues, who read it aloud amid her absence from the show\u2019s broadcast on Monday, Feb. 2.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers, and messages of support. Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom,\u201d the anchor said.<\/p>\n

That same day, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos offered an update about the investigation and the Guthrie family\u2019s reaction in an interview with PEOPLE.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re just devastated like anyone would be. They are a family and they lean on each other,\u201d he said, adding: \u201cWe\u2019re just staying in touch with them and they know this community supports them as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further claimed that he believed Nancy was taken \u201cagainst her will.\u201d<\/p>\n

At a press conference, also on Feb. 2, Nanos revealed\u00a0that Nancy\u2019s home is considered a \u201ccrime scene.\u201d He also made a \u201cplea\u201d to \u201canyone who knows anything about this, who has seen something, heard something, to contact us. Call 911. We don\u2019t need another bad, tragic ending. We need some help.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an 84-year-old lady who suffers from some physical ailments, has some physical challenges, is in need of medication \u2014 medication that, if she doesn\u2019t have in 24 hours, it could be fatal,\u201d Nanos stated, noting that Nancy is\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cof great sound mind\u201d and \u201cdid not leave on her own.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later that night, Savannah took to\u00a0Instagram\u00a0to ask for prayers for her mom and thank those who have showed their support.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe in prayer. we believe in voices raised in unison, in love, in hope. we believe in goodness,\u201d Savannah wrote in the post\u2019s caption. \u201cwe believe in humanity. above all, we believe in Him.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cthank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant. raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Savannah also quoted the Bible verse Isaiah 26:3, adding: \u201cHe will keep in perfect peace those whose hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord, a verse of Isaiah for all time for all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Feb. 3 \u2014 shortly after Nanos revealed that investigators still did not know Nancy\u2019s whereabouts and were unsure how many people may have been involved in her kidnapping \u2014 PEOPLE confirmed that Savannah will no longer be covering the 2026 Olympics.<\/p>\n

\u201cSavannah will not be joining us at the Olympics as she focuses on being with her family during this difficult time,\u201d an NBC Sports spokesperson told PEOPLE in a statement. \u201cOur hearts are with her and the entire Guthrie family as the search continues for their mother. We will share additional information about our Opening Ceremony coverage plans soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Savannah was set to serve as a co-host alongside Terry Gannon, with commentary from snowboarder Shaun White, in Milan, Italy during the ceremony on Friday, Feb. 6. Her former\u00a0Today\u00a0<\/em>co-host,\u00a0Hoda Kotb, is still scheduled to be in Milan for the duration of the event.<\/p>\n

A source previously told PEOPLE that Savannah and her mom are \u201cvery, very close,\u201d adding that \u201cthey\u2019re like best friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another insider told PEOPLE that \u201cSavannah and her mom are obsessed with each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHer mom is her world,\u201d the insider said. \u201cNancy beams whenever she talks about Savannah.\u201d<\/p>\n
