Hayes said.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas looked at Mom.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She stiffened.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have Mirror.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is the piece of the network\u2019s succession record was hidden.<\/p>\n<p>Grandpa and Thomas split the ledger after Elena vanished.<\/p>\n<p>No single person could expose everyone.<\/p>\n<p>No single person could destroy everything.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen Chloe rang the bell at four, Samuel made her the final key.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mom looked furious.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou involved a child.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thomas the first intelligent thing you\u2019ve said.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A new message arrived on Hayes\u2019s prepaid phone.<\/p>\n<p>Unknown number.<\/p>\n<p>A photograph.<\/p>\n<p>Henderson tied to a chair in
