hesitated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy father-in-law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The system was older again.<\/p>\n<p>Another generation.<\/p>\n<p>Another person deciding that disappearance could be called care.<\/p>\n<p>The detective interrupted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRebecca is being transported to a hospital for evaluation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Caroline wiped her face.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This time, no one stopped her.<\/p>\n<p>Julian followed.<\/p>\n<p>Before leaving, he looked at Margaret.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re coming too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She shook her him.<\/p>\n<p>Something broke behind her expression.<\/p>\n<p>She reached for her coat.<\/p>\n<p>As they left, Rachel remained beside me and Claire.<\/p>\n<p>Claire looked exhausted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThree people through GH-4.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rachel nodded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne was Evelyn\u2019s child.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd the others?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll find out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Claire stared toward the dark windows.<\/p>\n<p>Then my phone buzzed again.<\/p>\n<p>Another unknown message.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel read it.<\/p>\n<p>ASK MARGARET WHO D5 WAS.<\/p>\n<p>Claire and I looked at each other.<\/p>\n<p>The ledger.<\/p>\n<p>D-six was Rebecca.<\/p>\n<p>D-seven Elias.<\/p>\n<p>D-eight Benjamin.<\/p>\n<p>D-nine Milo.<\/p>\n<p>Which meant someone wanted us to look one position earlier.<\/p>\n<p>D-five.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel called Julian.<\/p>\n<p>He answered from the car.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTurn
