People he trusts. Expectations about who he is. Whatever was done to you was wrong, but we can harm him again if we make this reunion about correcting your pain rather than protecting his.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Claire looked down.<\/p>\n<p>The words hurt because they were true.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat do you recommend?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA clinician speaks with him first. We tell him new information has come to light. Tell him what you know. Tell him what you don\u2019t know. Most importantly, tell him he doesn\u2019t have to decide what you mean to him today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Claire\u2019s tears spilled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOkay.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She stood.<\/p>\n<p>Julian stood focused.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat did he say?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Brooks looked toward Claire.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe told Elias that people might come claiming to be family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Claire gripped the table.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe told him not to trust them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>My skin prickled.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Brooks continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cElias also said Daniel promised that if he cooperated, he wouldn\u2019t have to move again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Claire whispered, \u201cMove where?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Murray entered holding a file.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe checked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her face was pale.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a transfer request in Elias\u2019s chart.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rachel stepped forward.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDestination?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Murray looked at Julian.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNorth Harbor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The name struck him visibly.<\/p>\n<p>The supported-living network connected to D-eight.<\/p>\n<p>His supposedly dead twin.<\/p>\n<p>Claire stared at him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey were going to move Elias to the same system that has Benjamin.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Julian
