asked:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho&#39;s Sarah?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Evan looked at him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou mention that name in talks sometimes without explaining.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Evan smiled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn eighteen-year-old girl who died a long time ago.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat&#39;s depressing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHer family spent generations learning not to decide for placed Noah&#39;s letter inside his personal papers with Caroline&#39;s permission.<\/p>\n<p>Not as confession.<\/p>\n<p>As evidence of revision.<\/p>\n<p>A doctor who changed his mind after decades.<\/p>\n<p>An advocate who never fully forgave him.<\/p>\n<p>Both continued learning anyway.<\/p>\n<p>Evan&#39;s final public lecture ended without Sarah&#39;s name.<\/p>\n<p>He
