call June her baby.<\/p>\n<p>She did not make a speech.<\/p>\n<p>She simply looked down.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHello.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>June moved one tiny hand.<\/p>\n<p>Natalie cried silently.<\/p>\n<p>I stood beside the window.<\/p>\n<p>Dad entered.<\/p>\n<p>Then Daniel.<\/p>\n<p>Four adults around one newborn.<\/p>\n<p>No one controlling the moment.<\/p>\n<p>No one owning it.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke looked at all of us.<\/p>\n<p>Then said, \u201cYou\u2019re all being weird.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We laughed.<\/p>\n<p>The tension broke.<\/p>\n<p>Later, as Natalie and I walked toward the elevator, she
