We\u2019re getting you medical treatment somewhere secure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lily stared at her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow do you know my name?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reyes glanced at Arthur.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour father\u2019s call initiated an emergency referral.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Arthur understood enough.<\/p>\n<p>Old protocols had evolved.<\/p>\n<p>His authentication had opened a door, and the information about compromised local authorities had determined who walked through it.<\/p>\n<p>Richard recovered his voice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can\u2019t take her. She has proprietary material belonging to my company.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reyes turned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRichard Mercer?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He hesitated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank
