fraud claims, but uncertain.

Divorce was straightforward.

Separation.

Postnuptial agreement if we attempted reconciliation.

I listened.

Mark listened separately.

No one pushed.

Then he sent one message.

Whatever you choose, I will sign what is fair.

No defense.

No bargaining.

I stared at it for camera facing the bridal suite.

The place where I was supposed to sign the transfer papers.

The recording began before I arrived.

Jonathan Mercer entered.

Then Diane.

Then Peter Lane.

They argued.

Mercer said he would not go through with it.

Diane said Vale would destroy them.

Lane said the documents had to be Rachel intercepted me.

At 7:10, Diane announced the condo publicly, trying to make Vale believe the plan succeeded.

Mark told me not to stand up.

Not because he had approved the transfer.

Because he thought he had already stopped it and did not understand why Diane was still acting.

The video did not erase his months of secrecy.

It did not erase August 14.

The hidden debt.

His failure to tell me before proposing.

But one moment I had interpreted as complicity was not.

He had chosen me.

Late.

Imperfectly.

Without telling me enough.

But he had chosen my right to decide.

I sat alone after the video ended.

For the first time, I
