linked to Richard Vale.<\/p>\n<p>One payment came from a lender that had financed Mark\u2019s family company.<\/p>\n<p>My father stared at the screen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe sold us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>My aloud.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeptember 11.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mark frowned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat was before Vale made the big loan to us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Everybody turned toward him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow long
