handling.<\/p>\n<p>Pastor: emphasize privacy.<\/p>\n<p>Bank: move before questions.<\/p>\n<p>Then, at the bottom:<\/p>\n<p>Old flip phone \u2013 harmless.<\/p>\n<p>I stared at those three words.<\/p>\n<p>Harmless.<\/p>\n<p>Robert had seen the phone.<\/p>\n<p>He had considered it.<\/p>\n<p>Dismissed it.<\/p>\n<p>The object he mocked became the one thing outside the system he thought he controlled.<\/p>\n<p>I touched the purse beside my chair.<\/p>\n<p>The flip phone was still inside.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time, I smiled.<\/p>\n<p>Not because any of this was funny.<\/p>\n<p>Because arrogance leaves openings.<\/p>\n<p>Robert had cataloged my weaknesses for years.<\/p>\n<p>He never understood that one of my greatest strengths was precisely what he despised.<\/p>\n<p>I kept old
