Sheriff, ambulance, another rescue truck. I knew something had happened.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo you kept going.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat did you see?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChaos.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His face tightened.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople at the marina. Search crews starting to arrive. Somebody said a boat was missing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd you knew.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI recognized Daniel\u2019s truck.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sophie whispered, \u201cOh my God.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dean sat down.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI asked around. Nobody knew much yet.
