Zero.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPhysical destruction?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Silence.<\/p>\n<p>Maya\u2019s stomach dropped.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHelena.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThermite charges.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Davis stared.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou put incendiaries in an archive beneath an occupied summit building?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are localized.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople are above it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe system was designed for evacuation first.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kessler said calmly, \u201cNot today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maya looked at the building occupancy.<\/p>\n<p>Hundreds.<\/p>\n<p>Delegates.<\/p>\n<p>Staff.<\/p>\n<p>Security.<\/p>\n<p>Kessler continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I cannot control Crown, nobody gets its records.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A countdown appeared.<\/p>\n<p>CROWN TERMINATION \u2014 12:00.<\/p>\n<p>Twelve minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Maya stared.<\/p>\n<p>Kessler had lost Helix.<\/p>\n<p>Ward had lost control.<\/p>\n<p>Gabriel\u2019s Safe Release remained incomplete.<\/p>\n<p>And now the only complete physical archive of Crown sat above enough incendiary material to destroy the evidence and possibly the building with it.<\/p>\n<p>Maya looked at Davis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvacuate everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He nodded.<\/p>\n<p>Cross asked, \u201cAnd Crown Zero?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maya looked at Gabriel\u2019s frozen note on
