We settle this before I die.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel frowned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDid they meet?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Farrah checked the date.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow was the day Charles suffered his final major cardiac event.<\/p>\n<p>Isaac went pale.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I knew where his mind had gone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo not do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He looked at me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo what?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTurn timing into accusation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His jaw tightened.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGregory was supposed to meet Dad the day Dad collapsed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat does not mean Gregory caused it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Isaac looked away.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel spoke.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Isaac nodded.<\/p>\n<p>But the question remained.<\/p>\n<p>Why had Gregory voluntarily produced a letter proving Charles had discovered his conflict?<\/p>\n<p>Farrah called his counsel.<\/p>\n<p>The answer came ten minutes later.<\/p>\n<p>Gregory was no longer contesting the conflict-of-interest allegations.<\/p>\n<p>He was preparing to admit certain financial misconduct.<\/p>\n<p>But he continued denying one thing.<\/p>\n<p>The forgeries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat makes no sense,\u201d Isaac said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe has the strongest apparent connection.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes,\u201d Farrah replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo why admit financial misconduct and deny forging signatures?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause maybe he didn\u2019t forge them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The room went quiet.<\/p>\n<p>Amanda stared at her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen who did?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Farrah looked toward the three questioned signatures.<\/p>\n<p>Charles.<\/p>\n<p>Rebecca.<\/p>\n<p>Isaac.<\/p>\n<p>One person had access to authentic samples from all three.<\/p>\n<p>Gregory.<\/p>\n<p>But so had someone else.<\/p>\n<p>Someone who had handled corporate documents for decades.<\/p>\n<p>Someone who knew Charles\u2019s personal files.<\/p>\n<p>Someone who had processed Daniel\u2019s consulting paperwork.<\/p>\n<p>Someone who had access to Isaac\u2019s signature specimens.<\/p>\n<p>Martin.<\/p>\n<p>No one spoke his name.<\/p>\n<p>Not yet.<\/p>\n<p>But every person in the room thought it.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/insightdrama.com\/?p=27966\">Click here to continue reading: PART 20: Martin\u2019s Signature Files Made Him the New Suspect, Until a Hidden Recording Revealed Why He Had Obeyed Gregory for Years<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The memo changed the investigation.
