R.K. monitors external beneficiary contact. Preserve evidence until independent trigger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat independent trigger?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n<p>Nobody knew.<\/p>\n<p>Marlowe&#39;s phone rang.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona agents had found something inside Laura&#39;s house.<\/p>\n<p>A locked fireproof cabinet.<\/p>\n<p>Inside were dozens of copied audit records.<\/p>\n<p>And a handwritten note dated five days earlier.<\/p>\n<p>The day she left.<\/p>\n<p>Marlowe had the note photographed and transmitted.<\/p>\n<p>She read it aloud.<\/p>\n<p>If Sloan&#39;s live profile is tested, Raymond has started the consolidation. David may see it first. Do not contact him until after escalation. If Beatrice acts, follow the originals. If Adrian moves, follow the ownership dispute. Margaret will choose her claim over Raymond once she sees the ledger.
