strong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Strong.<\/p>\n<p>Not perfect.<\/p>\n<p>But real.<\/p>\n<p>That evening I went to the piano.<\/p>\n<p>I had not played in days.<\/p>\n<p>The same Chopin nocturne.<\/p>\n<p>The opening notes came more easily now.<\/p>\n<p>Robert used to sit with a book and pretend not to listen.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever I stopped, he would turn a page too loudly until I started again.<\/p>\n<p>I
