laughed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy good?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause she was worried you\u2019d only do one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That sounded like Mama.<\/p>\n<p>Rebecca said that during her 2014 visit, Mama talked about dying.<\/p>\n<p>Not morbidly.<\/p>\n<p>Practically.<\/p>\n<p>She worried I would find the flour tin and focus only on the money.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe said you were has access to a Mercer family archive in Florida.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow much?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnknown.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOriginals?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat does he want?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConsideration in his current case.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That was for prosecutors.<\/p>\n<p>Not me.<\/p>\n<p>But Ruiz said Peter claimed the archive contained Daniel\u2019s personal correspondence with Wayne.<\/p>\n<p>Including letters about Samuel.<\/p>\n<p>Henry Crawford.<\/p>\n<p>My accident.<\/p>\n<p>Possibly others.<\/p>\n<p>The old story still had unopened rooms.<\/p>\n<p>I should have felt exhausted.<\/p>\n<p>I did.<\/p>\n<p>But something had changed.<\/p>\n<p>At the beginning, every new document threatened to overturn my life.<\/p>\n<p>Now documents
