I remembered reheating dinner after ten. change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I stared at her.<\/p>\n<p>Bonnie handed me the page.<\/p>\n<p>Six months after the marriage, Lacey Marie Burcham had formally changed her name.<\/p>\n<p>Lacey Marie Tolley.<\/p>\n<p>Seeing it printed that way hurt differently.<\/p>\n<p>The marriage certificate could still be imagined as a desperate legal maneuver, some bizarre technical arrangement I did not
