\u201cMarcus had the Price file. David used it to force closure.\u201d<\/p>\n

We did not know.<\/p>\n
She resumed.<\/p>\n
Elaine said:<\/p>\n
\u201cI told Marcus the file had nothing to do with Sarah\u2019s authorization and should not be used to pressure Daniel.\u201d<\/p>\n
Daniel Price.<\/p>\n
Not Sarah.<\/p>\n
The file was leverage against him.<\/p>\n
Then:<\/p>\n
\u201cDaniel agreed not to challenge the settlement documents if David returned the originals.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sarah whispered, \u201cWhat originals?\u201d<\/p>\n
Elaine continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do not know what David has on Daniel. I know Daniel was frightened.\u201d<\/p>\n
The cleanest person in the old story suddenly was not clean at all.<\/p>\n
Or at least not free.<\/p>\n
Elaine\u2019s recording went on.<\/p>\n
\u201cMargaret advised Sarah to wait. Sarah chose to proceed after speaking with David. I cannot say whether she understood the disputed authorizations remained unresolved.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sarah started crying silently.<\/p>\n
Not because Elaine said she had been forced.<\/p>\n
