files.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Natalie covered her mouth.<\/p>\n<p>Harriet continued.<\/p>\n<p>Rebecca likely ordered Pierce to kill Margaret because Margaret had discovered the parallel frowned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy do I know that name?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I knew.<\/p>\n<p>Not from the case.<\/p>\n<p>From my life.<\/p>\n<p>Lydia Shaw was Natalie\u2019s therapist.<\/p>\n<p>For six had been delivering our lives to her once a week.<\/p>\n<p>For six years.<\/p>\n<p>Detective Cole immediately ordered teams to Lydia Shaw\u2019s office and home.<\/p>\n<p>Both were empty.<\/p>\n<p>The office had been cleared.<\/p>\n<p>Computers gone.<\/p>\n<p>Paper files shredded.<\/p>\n<p>Apartment nearly empty.<\/p>\n<p>One thing remained.<\/p>\n<p>A framed photograph facedown on a desk.<\/p>\n<p>Police sent us the image.<\/p>\n<p>It showed Margaret standing outside St. Agnes.<\/p>\n<p>Beside her was Rebecca.<\/p>\n<p>Behind them stood a teenage Michael.<\/p>\n<p>And in
